Jawed A. Qureshi B.Sc. ACII
General Manager

General Manager of Gulf Cooperation Insurance Co., graduate in science and is chartered insurer and Associate of the  Chartered Insurance Institute  of London. He joined the company as Marketing Executive in 1987 after experience with Premium Insurance of Pakistan as Deputy Manager. 

Having been with GCI for twenty years, he plays a major role in business development. During his tenure as General Manager the Company has made tremendous progress and successfully sailed through the new era of Insurance Regulations and Reforms in the Kingdom.

M. Azmy Anverdeen FCMA, MBA
Financial Controller

Joined GCI in 2000 as Finance Manager. With a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Colombo and is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, U.K., Azmy has more than fifteen years experience in Insurance. Prior to arriving in the kingdom he completed eight years of service with Union Assurance Limited in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Regional Manager

Bashir Ahmed Mughal joined Premier Insurance of Pakistan, in 1966 and worked with them till 1976. In Saudi Arabia, he worked from 1976 to 1995 with International Corporation (El-Khereiji Insurance Group - Agent for INA/General Accident/& Horncastle London) in various capacities rising to General Manager. He joined GCI in 1998 as senior Marketing Manger and is now its Regional Manager in Riyadh.  

Mr. Bashir Mughal is a graduate from University of the Punjab. During 1970-1974 he studied for associatship of Chartered Insurance Institute London. In 1983 he completed Middle Management Insurance Course arranged by GAIF/Lloyd's in London. He served JITC also as a lecturer and examiner for two years.

John Bosco M.Sc. LLB, MBA, FFII, ACII
Manager Technical

Mr. John joined GCI in 2002 after over twenty six years managerial experience in General Insurance. He commenced his career as Management Trainee with The New India Assurance Co. Bombay rising to the position of Divisional Manager. He has extensive experience in the Middle East having worked for Royal Sun Alliance and then in Qatar and the UAE.  

John is an honorary alumnus of the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

Mohammed Ishaque Khan 
Advisor

Mohamed Ishaque Khan advises Dabbagh Group on GCI/MCA affairs. Starting his career in Insurance in 1951, he participated in managing many companies. He is one of the most educated and experienced person in Insurance, Risk Management and related Financial Services.  

His qualifications include two Master Degrees (MSFS, MSM) and prominent professional designations (CLU, CPCU, ChFC) from USA and Fellowship of Chartered Insurance Institute and Member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators of UK.  

Mr. Khan has the rare distinction of having been a leading salesman (MDRT), Marketing Manager and Chief Executive and builder of a number of companies (both life & non-life). Developing numerous top class executives has been one of his remarkable qualities.
